Your AI chats, saved as one offline file.
ConvoArk saves the ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini conversation you have open as one self-contained HTML file on your computer. Formatting, code, math, images and citations come along, and the file opens offline. You can also choose which messages to keep, or export Markdown or a PDF.
For Google Chrome 141 or later on a computer. Works on chatgpt.com, claude.ai and gemini.google.com.

Only what you need, in the format you need
Pick the messages before saving, then choose HTML, Markdown or PDF. The interface is available in Japanese, English, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese.
Choose the messages
Click “Choose messages to save…” and tick the ones you want. A prompt and its reply can be chosen separately, and rounds keep their original numbers.
Markdown export
One .md file. Citations become footnotes with their original URLs, and there is no image folder.
PDF, made in your browser
The extension lays out the conversation on its own page and opens Chrome’s print window; set Destination to “Save as PDF”. Nothing is uploaded.
Four interface languages
Japanese, English, Simplified or Traditional Chinese, following your browser’s language, and you can switch at any time.
What it saves
Not a screenshot and not plain text: the file keeps the conversation’s structure, and interactive content keeps working.
Text and formatting
Prompts and replies with headings, lists, tables, code blocks and math, plus thinking and search steps.
Images
Pictures in the chat are stored inside the file: the original where it can be read, otherwise as shown on the page.
Citations with their links
Sources keep their original links, so you can still check where an answer came from.
Claude Artifacts
Artifacts and visuals run offline inside the file, in a sandbox, with the code libraries they use saved alongside.
Gemini interactive modules
Once you allow reading them, modules stay clickable offline. If you decline, they are saved as a picture or text.
One file you keep
Double-click to open it in a browser, on this computer or another, even on a phone. Print it or save it as PDF.
Private by design
Your conversation is processed in your browser and written to a file on your computer. That is all it does.
Nothing uploaded
Conversation text is never sent to us or anyone else. There is no server, no analytics and no ads. PDFs are made in your browser too.
Opens with zero requests
A saved HTML file makes no network requests when you open it. A web page opens only if you click a link in it.
No account, current tab only
No sign-up. Through Chrome’s activeTab permission it reads a conversation only after you click its toolbar icon, and only in that tab.
To make the file work offline, saving downloads the chat’s images, source icons and the code libraries interactive content needs. These requests carry no conversation text; the privacy policy lists every one.
How it works
Open a conversation
In Chrome, open a conversation on ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini.
Click the ConvoArk icon
The popup recognises the site and shows the conversation. Under “Format”, pick HTML, Markdown or PDF.
Save
Click “Save as offline file” (“Save as Markdown” or “Save as PDF” for the other formats), or “Choose messages to save…” to keep only some messages. The page reloads once so everything can be expanded. For PDF, the print window opens.
Common questions
Is it free? Do I need an account?
All features are currently free, with no usage limits. There is no account or sign-up, and no payment details are collected.
Does ConvoArk upload my conversations?
No. Conversation text is processed in your browser and written to a file on your computer, and it is never sent to us. PDFs are made in your browser too.
Which sites does it work on?
chatgpt.com (and chat.openai.com), claude.ai and gemini.google.com, in Google Chrome 141 or later on a computer.
Where does the file go?
HTML and Markdown files go wherever Chrome saves downloads: the Downloads folder unless you changed it. The file name includes the conversation title. A PDF goes where you choose in the print dialog.
